WANDER > HOME: Lake Como, Italy!
Arriving at Villa Cipressi (which would be our “home” throughout our stay in Lake Como), history embraced us with open arms. The property's legacy, spanning nearly six centuries, spoke volumes of its rich past. Three distinct buildings stood proudly, each bearing witness to bygone eras. It was magical, to say the least. The oldest building, a relic from the 1400s, now housed the charming breakfast room and five bedrooms. Meanwhile, the 1700s and 19th-century structures gracefully accommodated the hotel's reception and additional rooms.
Nestled amidst magnificent botanical gardens, the villa offered an idyllic setting for leisurely strolls and soaking in the picturesque views of the lakeside scenery.

WANDER > HOME: Milan, Italy!
Stepping out from our hotel, we were greeted by the majestic presence of "Il Duomo di Milano." The sheer grandeur of this Italian Cathedral (an architectural marvel), built centuries ago, left us breathless. Coming from our standard US culture where we’re taught to spend years of our lives to earn a degree, it’s moments like these that remind me of the incredible talents and dedication of artisans throughout history – who never went to “school” for such craftsmanship!

2 Quick Questions to ask yourself when making design choices
We’ve all been there – staring at a shelf full of picture frames or rack of beautiful (but oh so different) area rugs, debating between design choices, and feeling overwhelmed by the decision-making process in general.
