Holiday Open House 2025
This feels like ages ago, but I wanted to add it to my journal so I would not forget what a wonderful day it was!
Y’all it was so cold! We have had a very cold winter this year and it continues to be in 2026. Back on the first weekend in December, the temps were in the 30’s-40’s and I hosted 6 makers to bring their products for the day.
They were set up outside! 🥶
We had a fire going and space heaters, but until it got busy and they didn’t have to think about it, it was freezing! Being from the South, we do not get cold weather enough to be truly prepared for it. Our blood is not used to it!
Other than the temps, the day was perfection. We had a steady stream of customers wandering through the house and shopping. I had hot chocolate, coffee, and a yummy holiday mimosa for everyone to enjoy, and the holiday music was playing to set the mood!
I couldn’t have chosen better vendors. We enjoyed shopping from Vanessa Hudson and her pottery, Darrel Ezekial aka Creatures Stirring, Vallie Pate Art, Kelly Duncan leather and jewelry, and Hope n Ham with so many great gifts, and my sister and I had a table with what we call the To: Me table!
I’m already planning next year’s event and I hope you will join us! More vendors and more help! haha!
