Your Mid-Summer Inspo List
Summer is funny, isn’t it? It wants to inspire us. The longer days, golden evenings, slow mornings… they all quietly invite us to notice the beauty around us.
But it’s easy to find ourselves just pushing right through it, isn’t it? We get busy. We move fast. We “mean to” make time for creativity, and suddenly summer feels like it’s slipping by.
That’s actually what I wrote about on the blog last month → How to Let Summer Inspire You. Did you read it?
Not forcing it. Not creating another to-do list. Just… letting it happen. Making room for those small, sparkly moments to find you.
And because I love this idea so much, I put together a little Mid-Summer Inspo List to help you keep romanticizing these long summer days… just a few simple ways to stay open to beauty in the everyday:
✨ Sketch at golden hour. Take ten minutes outside. No rules, no expectations…just notice the light. (Have you been doing your weekly sketches? I need to catch up on mine)!
✨Create a “pretty pool day” for the littles (or yourself/your friends). Matching towels, iced drinks (bonus points if served in vintage cups), an actual playlist…tiny touches that make it feel special. PS: soo much of this can be thrifted! Make an adventure out of it by going to a local vintage or thrift store and finding some fun things! You never know what you’ll find.
✨ Write one real letter. Pull out the good stationery. Maybe even a wax seal if you have one (PS - these make a great gift). Make it pretty. Send it to someone who doesn’t expect it.
✨ Style a forgotten corner of your house. A shelf, a windowsill, your bedside table. Use what you have or what’s easy to get: vintage books, candles, a fresh bloom. This ALWAYS lifts my mood and makes me smile when I see it.
✨ Make something that’s just for you. I’m making myself another journal (no one's surprised 😂). It’s unique and imperfect, and I love it.

You’ll be surprised how much inspiration shows up when you let it.
