Hospitality Home

Over the past few weeks, our home has been full… in the very best way.

A place for the wedding party to get ready and take photos before the wedding of a dear friend.

A creative gathering with the InSpero community.

And plenty of friends dropping by for a quick hug or to see what project I’m working on next.

As I thought about how many faces have come through our doors this month, I was reminded that these are the moments I dreamed of when we designed this house! I imagined our space being used for connection, laughter, and creativity. It’s why we were so intentional with how we built (and styled) it. Not to make it perfect, but to make it open.

I’m so grateful every time I see people walk through the door, grab a drink, and settle in like they’re home.

There were so many times earlier in my life when I wouldn’t feel comfortable opening my home unless it was spotless, with pillows perfectly fluffed and everything in tip top shape. But the truth is, you don’t need a “perfect” home to open it up. You just need a willing heart (and maybe a few snacks). 😉

So here’s a little nudge for you: invite someone in this week. Host a dinner (even if its takeout), pour a glass, or pull out the craft supplies. Remind yourself that it's not about how your space looks. It’s about the connection, conversation, and inspiration that happens when you open it up!

And speaking of opening doors…
You’re officially invited to come over this December for my Holiday Market & House Tour!
It’s one of my favorite days of the year, and I’d love for you to join!
